I used to listen to Dr. Laura when I was younger in the car. Im not sure why....
I think I got a kick out of listening to people call a complete stranger and ask for advice on a "tough" situation. Although the situation in my eyes was 99% of time something that had a commonsense answer ...& on top of that, I never understood why her tone was always so damn rude & condescending, yet these people would still call in and want her advice. Every once in awhile she would give normal fare advice, but 8 out of 10 times she made the person look like a fool. Ok, so maybe thats why I listened.
